Day 01: Cochin to Munnar (140 Kms /4 hrs )
Arrive at Cochin Airport. Meet with our Driver; Drive to Munnar –a breathtakingly beautiful haven of peace and tranquility. Set at an altitude of 6000 ft. in Idukki district, Munnar was the favored summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers in the colonial days. On arrival check into your hotel. Enjoy a stroll through the Munnar town – Unending expanse of tea plantations – pristine valleys and mountains – exotic species of flora and fauna in its wild sanctuaries and forests – aroma of spice scented cool air. Visit Mattupetty Lake and Dam.Back to hotel for Overnight stay.
Day 02: Munnar
After breakfast Proceed on a tour visiting Eravikulam park. The park has the largest known population of Tahrs existing in the world. The park also shelters Atlas Moth, Elephants, Sambhars, Gaurs, Lion-tailed Macaque and Nilgiri Langur. Later visit Tea museum The Tata Tea Museum diligently portrays the growth of Munnar tea estates, veritably conveyed through some of the displays like the rudimentary tea roller to the modern fully automated tea factory. Overnight stay.
Day 03: Munnar to Alleppey (170 kms/5 hrs)
Breakfast at the Hotel. Drive downhill to Alleppey, Allepey is popular for its Houseboat cruises that pass through the serene backwaters, where you can catch glimpses of green paddy fields, choir making activities, beautiful avifauna and witness the life of locals in Kerala. Check into the hotel. Visit the beach in the evening. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Alleppey
Breakfast at the Hotel. Visit Revi Karunakaran museum, Revi Karunakaran Museum is a memorial museum built by Betty Karunakaran in the memory of her husband – one of the leading coir industrialist and businessman of Kerala- Revi Karunakaran. Afternoon enjoy a Shikara ride through the backwaters of Alleppey. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 05: Departure Cochin Airport
Check out after breakfast and transfer to airport to Cochin International airport to connect your onward flight back home.
