Day 01: Cochin to Munnar (140 Kms /4 hrs)
Arrive at Cochin Airport/Railway station. Meet with our representative; Drive to Munnar –a breathtakingly beautiful haven of peace and tranquility. Set at an altitude of 6000 ft. in Idukki district, Munnar was the favored summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers in the colonial days. On arrival check into your hotel. Enjoy a stroll through the Munnar town – Unending expanse of tea plantations – pristine valleys and mountains – exotic species of flora and fauna in its wild sanctuaries and forests – aroma of spice scented cool air. Visit Mattupetty Lake and dam. Back to hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay.
Day 02: Munnar
After breakfast Proceed on a tour visiting Eravikulam park. The park has the largest known population of Tahrs existing in the world. The park also shelters Atlas Moth, Elephants, Sambhars, Gaurs, Lion-tailed Macaque and Nilgiri Langur. Later visit Tea museum The Tata Tea Museum diligently portrays the growth of Munnar tea estates, veritably conveyed through some of the displays like the rudimentary tea roller to the modern fully automated tea factory. Dinner & Overnight stay.
Day 03: Munnar to Kumarakom (150 kms / 5 hrs)
Drive to Kumarkom after the breakfast at hotel. Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake, and is part of the Kuttanad region. The bird sanctuary here, which is spread across 14 acres is a favourite haunt of migratory birds and an ornithologist’s paradise. On arrival, check-into your hotel. Rest of the day free. Indulge in the resort activities – country canoe rides, sunset cruises. Dinner & Overnight stay.
Day 04 Kumarakom
Breakfast at the hotel. Chill Yours elf with the resort facilities. Experience a rejuvenating Ayuvedic Massage (Payable Locally) OPTIONAL half-day excursions to the Aymanam Village in Arundhathi Roy’s novel ‘The God of Small Things’. Enjoy A Traditional canoe cruise in the Kingfisher Country,. Then enjoy a nature walk in the heart of a Kerala village. while our story teller takes the day as it goes. While walking you can observe the snake abodes, A few Families preserve serpent abodes in natural surroundings. Continue explore the village interiors, see temples and local households. Also Visit a ‘Kathakali master’ Kerala’s traditional theatre. Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05 Kumarakom to Marari (45 km,/1 HR)
After Breakfast drive to Marari .Little-known, Earlier, Marari beach, not far from Alleppey in Kerala, is ideal for anyone for lazing around. an undeveloped “hammock beach”. While the beach is usually peaceful, it tends to become crowded with locals on weekends and holidays. On Arrival Check into your Hotel. Rest of the day is free. Dinner and Overnight stay.
Day 06 Marari
Breakfast at the hotel. Day free; take a stroll around the village, Indulge in Resort activities, Beach Time, to name a few. One can also try some Ayurveda treatments (Payable locally). Dinner and Overnight stay.
Day 07 Departure
Breakfast. Drive to Cochin International Airport, on time to take your flight back home.
