Lakshadweep island lie about 220 to 440 kms off the Kerala coast between 8° and 12° North Latitudes and 71° and 74° East Longitudes. The islands are connected to mainland by passenger ships and flights operated from Kochi.
Bangaram is an atoll in the Union Territory of Lakshadweep, India. The atoll has a roughly rectangular shape and is 8.1 km in length with a maximum width of 4.2 km. It is located over 400 km (250 mi) off Kochi in the Indian Ocean.
Bangaram atoll is connected to the reef of Agatti through a shallow submarine ridge. The people can treat themselves to a large variety of dives around Bangaram. Bangaram lagoon is a shallow sandbank dive ranging 05-10 meter which is best suited for introductory dives. Besides Bangaram there are three island in a same atoll namely Thinnakara, Parali 1 and parali 2 that can be accessed by outboard or sailing from Bangaram.
Facilities
The Resort has 26 well-appointed rooms, well equipped water sports, dive centre , indoors and out door games, island excursions to the nearby islands, visits to ship wreck, fishing and snorkelling. All rooms are sea facing and 30-50 meters away from the beach. The huts have a small patio, Mini Bar, attached toilet, fans and air conditioning.
