BEACH AND LAKE RESORT : 

The Beach & Lake is a privately owned Ayurvedic Resort, Offering Therapeutic and Rejuvenating Ayurveda programs; the resort is nestled between the Arabian Sea and the Karamana River and is situated on an island in the charming village of Kovalam. On one side are the backwaters; bordered by a forest of coconut palms, a natural habitat for 31 odd species of migratory birds. On the other side, a secluded expanse of beach stretches 4 kms north to the lively beach of Kovalam. Though October to April is the main travel period its said that the Optimum benefit can be achieved when treatments during the rainy season of June and July. Kerala is green when it rains.
